Great book but doesn't fit

Pros: I've only had this a short time, but it appears that I shouldn't have any trouble finding just about any chord I need.
Cons: I'm very disappointed that the description said it would fit in my guitar case. I have a fairly good acoustic Alvarez guitar with a hard case and there's no way I can close the case with the book underneath it. I tried several adjustments - it just won't work.

Never found a textbook so frustrating!

The definitions for terms are very long and drawn out. Examples piled on top of examples make chapters very long, drawn out and distracting to read and comprehend. Sentences are also long and drawn out with too many added prepositions. Over all, just hard to stay focused on a particular topic.

Best GED Prep Book Around!

I got this book for my nephew who opted to take this test versus finishing his senior year of high school. He asked for my help with the math, but having been out of school for several years and not knowing specifically what type of math is on this test, I hoped to find a book with some specifics. I reviewed every section of this book and I was impressed with how well it organized the information and provided examples. I was grateful to receive this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
To start, this book has an excellent introduction. It explains what the GED test is, how the test is administered, what all the sections/topics are, how many questions are in each section and how much time is allotted for each section. They also explain how the test is scored. The Sections are as follows: Math, Reasoning through Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The last section of this book includes Practice tests for each section and answer keys; an added plus.
Each section is broken down into sub-sections sand those sections are broken down even further. Each sub-section includes plenty of examples to understand the subject matter. I highly recommend this book for anyone tackling this test. I don’t think there is another book around that could present this information in a better format.

Worth it

I wasn't sure about this study guide because it was really cheap. However, this book was really helpful. It covers all the core subjects and is really clearly laid out. Also has lots of practice. I'm taking the GED next month and I believe I will pass it thanks to this book.

I call test taking FUN and entertaining haha

I will admit that I am not actually planning on taking this test myself, rather I picked this up as a form of self education and entertainment for the many road trips and long distance drives my family takes. Yeah, I call test taking FUN and entertaining haha :) that said, about the study guide...

It has a nice and easy layout with all of the core subjects covered that you would expect to find on the official GED test. Language arts, math, science and social studies. This is a fantastic overview of what to expect as well as a nice refresher if you're like me and looking to pass some time without a screen!

I tried to provide as many photos of the details as I could because honestly when I look at reviews I first go to the photos to see the real life image of the item as I have found sometimes the stock photos can misrepresent what you're buying.

I like this book! It doesn't really go in- depth on the covered diseases, but the information it has is still quite useful. If you are just wondering about diseases from a layman's point of view, then this book is helpful. I doubt it would help much if you were needing very in- depth information, though (such as for medical personnel...)

This is an Awesome Book about Echo and Alexa.

I truly admire this book and Steve Wright, the author, by providing this wonderful awesome and helpful book about Echo.

This book is very helpful. Everything you need to know about Echo is already included here.
The book is divided with different sections. The first section includes the basics about Echo, how to set it up, how to talk to your echo the first time, and many more commands.. (oopss, you will also meet 'Alexa', you virtual assistant with Echo.)
Another section is about SmartHome with Echo. This section basically details about how to use Echo with the devices at your home, example for lighting and fans, switches and outlets, doors, thermostats, locks, car control, etc.
There is also a section about Echo while you're at Work.. which for me, is very essential to be more efffective and efficient at work.
Another sections are for StayFit with Echo, which talks about your health and fitness, and many apps are also included here; StreamMusic on Your Echo, which details about many 'how-to-do's' and many applications about Music on Echo; Safety on Echo; and some Easter Eggs and Tips.

Overall, there are so much to know about from this book. Lots of helpful apps, guides, and instructions are included in this fine book about Echo.

I highly recommend this book to everyone who are using Echo, or those who want to learn more about Echo and what are the benefits of this to your life.

Clever Straightforward Guide

What a wonderful gadget Echo is. This piece of technology can do everything and really enrich you daily life. However like a lot of smart technology it is not the easiest to work out how to use or how to get the most out of it. That's where this book comes in, it is really good at giving you a detailed, easy to follow, step by step guide to Echo. The author very plainly explains what Echo is, what it can do for you and then proceeds to describe how to go about using it. The book is simple and easy to follow without blinding you with science.

No errata

The normal Magic Item Compendium gets 5 Stars from me, but this Premium edition does not. It does _not_ contain the promised errata.

If you have the normal MIC, don't buy this one.

Sharp looking but does NOT include errata as advertised.

Before Wizards of the Coast re-released the Magic Item Compendium, I had made a reasonable effort to buy this at a reasonable price, but was unsuccessful. I was delighted to finally be able to get my hands on a crisp new copy. It has a beautiful improvement to the cover. I would recommend this book to anyone who still plays D&D 3.5. It significantly improves the magic item options for low level characters.

That being said, I was disappointed to find that despite the advertisement that it "includes errata," it does not. Many of the errors would have been very simple to fix--substituting price X with price y--but this rudimentary copy editing was not done. If you are buying this book for the errata, you should save your money.

NO ERRATA

Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro lied! The Premium Spell Compendium, Monster Manual, Players Handbook, and Dungeon Master Guide all include the promised errata but this product doesn't have it at all. All you are paying for with this is a fancy new hard cover. Buy a used one if you really want this book and don't already have a copy. Better yet, find a copy on the internet.
